A hard day covered 100km. We left at 8pm and found a lovely tabac for morning coffee and an early lunch at 10:30.
Had another stop in a forest, for more cheese and toms about 1pm (I’d sadly left the hard boiled eggs and yogurt at the first stop)
A gruelling hill close to home slowed us up a bit so didn’t get to destination until 8:30pm, luckily there was a great pizza bar still open.
Need to leave at 7am tomorrow as it gets dark earlier now.
Thoughts for today:
- Jesus is all around!
There are statues of himself on the cross in most towns and villages, sometimes an abundance - Cows everywhere!
Cycled past loads of fields of cows, so lovely to see as so few in the UK where mostly they are kept in barns and treated like machines.
We also saw a field full of cute donkies, with stripy legs.
