Here we go again!
So it’s been 10 years and one month later, we’re off again, cycling to the South of France again.
South West this time with the destination San Sebastian.
Total: 1,328 km (about 825 miles, I thought it was 660!)
Same crew….Dez, Danny and Em x
We set off from Deal seafront at 1pm on a gentle cycle ride on Route 1 cycle path to Dover.
Caught the ferry to Calais where we were escorted through the docks to the road for Centre Ville, hoorah, we were on our way!
Quite an uneventful saunter to our first night’s accommodation in Andres.
Still a bit nervous about what is to come…we cycled about 50k today but tomorrow it’s over 100k with two steep hills to climb. We considered the longer less hilly route but thought let’s just go for it eeeeek!!!
