It was great waking up in Le Mans with a coffee shop just down the road, a market was just setting up so we stock up for lunch.
Then we head out again into the rural abyss, passing villages with long since shut down tabac and boulangeries
We pass fields of corn on the cob, waiting to be harvested for winter cattle feed. We pass fields of sunflowers with their heads bowed waiting to be harvested, friendly faces no longer tracking the daily sun.
Lunch is usually by a church as its the only place with somewhere to sit and some shade
And then we arrive in Tours with trams and traffic but great cycle paths to guide us to our nights lodgings.
And finally it is ratatouille night!
